Our sweet, sweet Andlie has been a wee bit whiney lately. About everything. It has been going on for about a month & we finally thought of a solution! Every time she whines/throws a fit, we just calmly remove a jingle bell from the jar. If we ask her to do something and she does without whining, she gets to put a bell in. Every time she fills up the jar (12 bells), she gets a Pez. We've been doing this for about a week and she has gotten two Pez - a "Car Mater" (Tomater from "Cars") and a "Monster" (Hulk) Pez. Once she fills it up five times, she gets a scooter.
We love the jar. So much. It has made a huge difference. We hope it continues. I will buy Pez for the rest of our lives. Because we love our sweet girl & only want her to be happy. But we do not love the whining. Because we want to keep our hair. And wits.
