Haze loves the book, "Fidgety Fish." Like loves. Maybe that's even an understatement. No matter where he is in the house, he will drop everything he is doing & come speed crawling into the room if he hears, "Tiddler was always fidgeting." (It's the first line of the book.)
He can even read two of the pages. When we read, "So Tiddler swam in and....SNAP!", he will say, "Eh de dar." ("Everything went dark.") But his favorite page of the story by far is the part when we read, "Suddenly the Big Fish burped and BURP!" He starts squeezing the muscles in his little arms & bum & shrills with delight, "WHOO!!! Ou ta Ti." ("WHOOSH! Out shoot Tiddler.") He says it very rhythmically and right on cue every time. And then he flips the pages pack until we turn to those two pages over and over again.
I love my little boy. He makes my heart smile.
