October 2 - 15 Months

Haze had his 15 month well check today.

Stats

Weight: 23 pounds, 3 ounces (26%)  (He's totally bigger than this.  He hadn't been eating well because he was getting teeth and had had a cold.)

Height: 32 inches (71%)

Head: (95%)

Doctor says he was growing well and was very smart.  (Of course.)  He got two immunizations and a flu shot.  He hated that part.  Well, let's get real.  He hated the entire exam.  He cried the entire time the doc looked in his ears, checked his tummy, felt his spine, looked in his mouth.  He especially hated the shots though.  And glared at the nurse when she was done.  No joke.  Don't worry, he was fine the minute I gave him a sucker.

Favorite Things He Does Lately

If you ask him to give you his bink, he will take it out with his little hand & give it right to you.

Snuggles with anything in the room & says, "Ohhhhh."

Walks around babbling and smiling and pointing all day long.

He's kinda destructive - like a little tornado.  Walks around the house emptying cupboards, pulling blankets down, throwing stuff (tupperwares) in the trash.  All the while with a big ol' grin.

When he gets "the look" on his face, it turns red, and he poops, he says, "Poop!"

When anyone toots, he says, "Poop?"

When he's hungry, he goes to the cupboard, pulls something out (box of cereal, crackers), gives it to you, and says, "Cook-kee?"

Dances at the sound of any music.

Makes a proud face when he's done something awesome.

Still doesn't like me to shower.  Walks in, stares at me through the glass, and cries.  Until I'm done.

He hates to be told "no" and gets a giant pouty lip and cries when he is.

He loves books.  He'll find one, bring it to you, say, "ook," and put his arms up so you'll put him on your lap & read.

Loves bath time.

He has 12 teeth (including 4 molars) with at least two more on the way.

He wears size 5 diapers.

He wears size 18 month shirts (some are getting too short) and size 18 month pants (sometimes they're too long, but fit well around his waist).

He sleeps 10-11 hours at night and still takes two naps per day.

He loves him some milk.

He's a really good eater and mostly eats what we do.

He's super content and happy 95% of the time.

He's such a big boy with a big heart!  We love our Tank!
