We went to the carny for real today. Andlie rode on three rides all by herself!! First time alert!! She went on the boats, the cars (pictured), and the pirate boats. Then her and Daddy went on the big slide together. She also got to go on the "paint facing ride." We waited in line for a whole hour to do that & she didn't mind at all. When it was finally her turn, she chose "a butterfly." The lady asked what color & she quickly replied, "Blue and yellow." Exactly what she got.
Later today we went to the parade & got lots of candy and then froze our booties off! Then we watched fireworks. Haze kept whispering, "Wow," over and over. Me & Andlie had a hard time choosing our favorites & said, "Oh, that's my favorite" every time a new firework popped. Fun day as a family!
