Holy cow, that was the fastest year ever! Can't believe little Buddy is one!
Birthday Schedule
Wake up to house decorated with balloons, number "1s", and tissue poms.
Have orange number one shaped pancake. (Daddy makes fun of the shape of pancake, says it's inappropriate for children, & makes a better one.)
Open presents! From Mommy, Daddy, & Andlie you got: a walking wagon, a tool bench that you can "hammer nails into", an animal book, and Baby Einstein's, "Moving Circles" book. (You learned to LOVE that book in the hospital.)
Play with said presents. Be so proud of yourself when you can walk with your wagon. Laugh.
Learn how to show people that you're 1 by holding one finger up. (Mommy & Daddy were pretty proud that you picked that right up.)
Eat lunch - PB & honey sandwich & cow's milk. Big boy!
Go to Living Planet Aquarium. You loved it! You were amazed by each new fish display & kept whispering, "wow."
Fall asleep on the way home.
Get a big boy sippy cup at Target.
Eat dinner - pizza. You love pizza.
Have cake! You weren't scared at all! At first, you would just poke one finger into the cake, pull it out, & look at it then taste. After about three pokes, you just started grabbing handfuls! You went at your cake for about half hour!
Bathtime!
Play with Andlie.
Read stories with Daddy & Andlie.
Go to bed.
We sure love you, Hazey! You are our social butterfly. Our curious little boy. We love you to pieces and are so thankful to have you in our lives! You fill our hearts with joy!
