Andlie came and visited Haze today. She was so sweet. She said hi to Haze & he immediately perked up. She was so cute & kept saying, "It's okay, Buddy. I'm sorry you're sick, Buddy." She kept softly patting his little tummy & even sat up in his hospital bed/crib with him at her request.
Granny, Mindy, Shennie tended Andlie until nap time today. Then the Allens came and took over. I came home at nap time and Bryan came home at bed time to visit with & hang out with Andlie for a minute each day. We spent all nights with Haze at the hospital while family took turns staying at our house with Andlie. We are so grateful for that.
Today, Haze was still pretty sick. His numbers didn't move much. They did get a little bit better, but not enough to say we were out of the woods. He still didn't want anything to do with food. He snuggled a lot. He still had a bit of a fever. The hospitalist doctor pushed another (they did one on day 1) bag of fluid to keep him hydrated and to see if it would help his high heart rate.
We were still pretty worried about our baby boy today, but so grateful for a wonderful hospital & staff that were taking such good and gentle care of our son. We prayed and prayed and prayed again today.
Oh these pictures make my heart hurt! No one should have to see their baby like this.
