This is my Granny. And my Granny's chair. Andlie is sitting in the same exact spot on Granny's chair that all ten of her grandkids have claimed at one point. It's the spot right to the left of Granny. To do it correctly, you have to kinda nuzzle your little bum down in the nook. Every one of Granny's chairs (and I can remember at least two others) have a "kid spot" within weeks of her getting them. Like a real live dent in the chair that makes it feel crooked when you sit in it by yourself.
No one tells you where to sit or how to sit there. You just know. And it's the best spot in the house.
Don't you just love watching your kids create some of the same memories you have with your own grandparents? It's magical!
